African Director, Arpita Mittal, wins international award in Delhi
Congratulations go to Arpita Mittal, CEO of Helen O’Grady India, and Helen O’Grady Africa Director, for winning the ‘Inspirational Leader Award’ at the Education Icon Awards 2019.
We are all extremely proud of Arpita for her contributions made to our international drama school and this is recognition of her unrelenting enthusiasm, passion and hard work in our organisation. This comes at a fantastic time in the Academy’s development as we celebrate 40 years of operation internationally In India, she has more than 50,000 children attending classes each week, making her the largest Helen O’Grady in the world. She has also been exceptional at nurturing new talent in our organisation so that we really to bring a change in mindset to education in the 21stCentury.
Education Icon Awards 2019 recognised Arpita as an ‘enthusiastic change makers who has sculpted the education sector, particularly the creative arts, with her knowledge and artistry’. These awards recognise people throughout the world for revolutionising education.
