ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL
ADEOLA BADRU Adeola studied Theatre Arts at the Nigeria's Premier University, the University of Ibadan. She has had a broad career in Drama, Education and Public Relations. Prior to her joining Helen O' Grady Academy, Adeola had been in the business of aiding the development of children and youth. She has distinguished herself as a writer of children's materials; a columnist and editorial board member of Tender Life Magazine, a Christian Magazine for children. She has presented wokshops and seminars on effective developmental programmes for young people. Having passed through an extensive training in the Helen O' Grady Drama system, Adeola is presently the Principal of the Academy in Lagos North and Nigeria Director.
Adeola is a brilliant and inspirational teacher, trainer and also an academic as she had her LLB in January, 2018.
She has built a huge reputation within and outside the country for the incredible work she does in the development of children, which also includes taking children on world tours annually. This she does to foster interaction between the Nigerian children and their contemporaries from all over the world and they also get to meet experts in the performance arts industry abroad. She believes in bringing children from around the world together, for the singular purpose of self-development.
