Our incredible Nairobi team have 100 children already enrolled and attending classes after the first week and the numbers keep growing as parents realise how imporant it is to train children in 21st Century Skills.

The most import of these skills are: Collaboration, Creative Thinking, Communication and Critical Thinking.

However, here are some of the other incredible skills taught in the Helen O'Grady Drama Schools incalcate throughout Africa:

  • Problem Solving
  • Tenacity to follow through on a project
  • Motivation
  • Commitment
  • Independence
  • Time-keeping and respect for deadlines
  • Initiative
  • Respect
  • Adaptablity
  • Work under pressure
  • Self-esteem
  • Acceptance of mistakes
  • Self-Discipline
  • Goal setting
  • Concentration
  • Dedication
  • Ability to take responsibility
  • Leadership Skills
  • Self-confidence

We are lucky to have dedicated Principals and teachers in our schools, who following our international curriculum, achieve the best in each and every child.

Duncan Rice, Director of Helen O'Grady Africa says, 'Nairobi is so lucky to have Amar and Jinita Desai running our international drama programme in Nairobi. They are truly dedicated people who want to see a change in the education of children using the holistic method of Helen O'Grady. To achieve 100 students in the first week is incredible - we will soon be looking at 1000s of children because there is such a need now to educate children in 21st Century skills so that children in Kenya will be more equipped to compete on the international stage.'

"" Ma fille a eu sa première exposition à votre classe le vendredi, et elle parle encore de ce qu'est un temps fantastique qu'elle avait. Je vous remercie beaucoup de l'avoir rendu si agréable, comme elle est généralement une personne très calme, et que cela va lui permettre de ne pas être si conservatrice et d'avoir une voix (non pas seulement à la maison, mais partout).
